This is a comparison of every major sensor located on the Cylinder Head/Engine block of a K24/20. However, this is not just for the electrical sensors but anything that is used to actuate a particular engine function. I got the idea after listing the VTC sensor in a thread on here, All comparisons are done using the following vehicle models.

The engine management signals are 99% identical. For wire colors I am not sure between RSX and accord, I guess they are not same as acura and honda are
I've owned three Honda vehicles and adjusted a lot of valves. Not sure of the current Honda engines, but the ones I have worked on could have valves adjusted in three rotations. Use a socket and breaker bar to rotate crank. I used a Go-No Go feeler gauge and then torqued adjustment jam nut. Replace the valve cover o-ring and spark plug seals.

Almost positive with any aftermarket cam (especially a stage 3) and 12.5CR you will have p2v contact with 45*. There's only one way to find out which is going to be to clay your engine. I just picked up a JDM K24a wich powers the Accord Type S in Japan. Its the same as the USDM TSX motor. Not 100% sure but the EDM K24a3 might be the EDM version of the USDM TSX motor. . Car : 2000 Civic h/b. Engine : K24a1 Vtec Killer. Power : 380 whp / 244 wtq. 1/4 Mile ET: 10.72 @ 124.7 mph.

Accord, Element, and TSX with 2.4 engines from 2003-2011 use OEM Honda or OEM Acupa part number: 37500-RAA-A01 CRV, Civic, and RSX from 2002-2011 use part number: 37500-PNB-003 This list is not complete, but it provides a general overview of the common engine years and crank sensor part numbers.
Jarvik sourced a K24 and got right to work swapping out the oil pump for a Type S unit and adding a Quaife LSD-equipped RSX Type S transmission before bolting everything in place.

The mill you see in the photo above is a K20A2 from an โ03 Acura RSX Type-S. I decided to go with the K20 over the K24 since I wanted the extra revs for the track versus more torque that the K24 provides.
